Thringstone Art Society are a group of retired folk who book the studio at Derbys Arts Centre, Pear Tree Farm for three days each summer. This year they asked me to run a workshop on their second day, saying they wanted to do something 'different'. Most students very traditional water colourists and some had not painted since school. We had a wonderful time 'playing', experimenting with materials and getting our hands into the paint glue and sand.. This is some of the lovely work produced between several coffee, tea and lunch breaks... I look forward to working with this lovely group of artists again. :-)
